Wedding Photography FAQ – Toronto

How far in advance should we book our Toronto wedding photographer?

Most couples book their Toronto wedding photographer 6–12 months in advance, especially for popular dates between May and October. If your date is coming up soon, still reach out — sometimes last-minute availability happens.

Where are you based and do you travel around Toronto?

I’m based in Toronto and photograph weddings all across the GTA, including Mississauga, Brampton, Scarborough, Vaughan, and beyond.

I also shoot destination weddings and love to travel wherever your story takes place.

What’s your photography style?

My style is natural, candid, and documentary-focused. I capture real moments as they happen, with light direction during portraits so nothing ever feels stiff or awkward. Think timeless images with a relaxed, modern feel.

How many photos will we get?

You can expect around 500–800 fully edited images, depending on your coverage and wedding timeline. Every photo delivered is carefully selected and professionally edited — no fillers.

When will we receive our wedding photos?

Your full wedding gallery will be delivered within 4–6 weeks. I also send sneak peeks so you can relive your day while you’re still riding that post-wedding high.

Do you offer engagement sessions in Toronto?

Yes! Toronto engagement sessions are available and can be added to any wedding package. They’re a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera and get photos you can use for your save-the-dates or wedding website.

How much wedding photography coverage do we need?

Most Toronto couples choose 8–10 hours of coverage, which usually covers:

• Getting ready

• Ceremony

• Portraits

• Reception highlights

I’ll help you figure out what works best based on your venue, timeline, and plans.

Do you work with a second photographer?

Yes, a second photographer is available and recommended for larger weddings, busy timelines, or multiple locations. It allows for more angles and ensures no important moments are missed.

Do you retouch all the photos?

All images are professionally edited for color, exposure, and consistency. Light retouching is included where needed, but everything stays natural and true to how the day actually felt.

Can we share a shot list?

Absolutely. Before your wedding, we’ll go over any must-have moments or family photos. I keep things organized but also leave room for spontaneous, in-between moments — those are usually the best ones.

What if it rains on our wedding day?

No stress — rain happens, especially in Toronto. I always come prepared and adapt to the conditions. Some of the most romantic photos actually come from rainy wedding days.

How do we officially book you?

Booking is simple:

1. Reach out through the contact form

2. Confirm availability

3. Sign the contract

4. Submit the retainer

Once that’s done, your date is locked in.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, payment plans are available. A retainer secures your date, and the remaining balance is split into easy payments before the wedding.

What makes you different from other Toronto wedding photographers?

I focus on creating a comfortable, stress-free experience so you can be fully present on your wedding day. My goal is to tell your story honestly — capturing the big moments and the small ones in between.

How do we get in touch?

You can reach out anytime through the contact page to check availability, ask questions, or request pricing. I’d love to hear about your wedding plans.
